This one-of-a-kind decorative piece features a pair of whales hand-painted in layered shades of blue across a frosted translucent panel. Flowing scrollwork fills the whales with sweeping curves and intricate details, creating a design inspired by the movement and rhythm of the sea.
The frosted panel allows light and hints of the surrounding environment to softly filter through the artwork, giving the piece a different appearance depending on where it is displayed.
The panel rests in a removable natural wood base, allowing it to stand upright on a shelf, desk, mantel, bookcase, or display table. The panel does not stand independently and requires the included base for upright display.
Unlike my smaller decorative pieces, this is an original signed artwork. The design is painted entirely by hand rather than printed, transferred, or applied with vinyl.
