This handcrafted shield features a weathered blue background crossed with bold black angular Nordic-inspired markings. The individual wood-plank construction remains visible beneath the painting, while a metallic silver rim, tiny nail details, and raised center boss complete the miniature shield appearance.

Each miniature shield is constructed by hand from individually cut wood pieces layered at opposing angles for strength, then shaped and sanded before being individually painted and detailed. The raised center boss is also cut, finished, painted, and assembled by hand.
A magnet on the reverse allows the finished shield to be displayed on refrigerators, magnetic boards, lockers, cabinets, or other magnetic surfaces.
Because each shield is individually constructed and painted rather than made from a premade blank, variations and small handmade characteristics are part of the finished piece.
